WIP: 1/144 HGAW Wing Gundam Zero
Man! May was rough... Made me contemplate on the amount of money I sink in to these toys and kits. Well for all it's worth, will try to squeeze in posts for 2 of the last kits I bought this month (and maybe the last ones I will buy in a while). For now, a WIP video for the HGAW Wing Zero.

WIP: 1/144 HG IBO Helmwige Reincar
It's quite a simple build really. This beast is unfortunately relegated to background suit status despite its looks. Well anyway, here's a silent build video for those interested. No stickers here! Hopefully review will be up by weekend.

WIP: 1/144 HGBF Transient Gundam Glacier
A little experiment. Video got encoded much faster with my new shiny quad core processor (still an APU though) and sped up 1.1x. Overall it's a simple yet satisfying build marred only by the occasional plastic quality issue. Was expecting tons of unused parts from the original Transient but somehow they got used for the backpack instead. The overall look though with the design reminds me of a Spriggan from Skyrim.

Rant Post: Gundam Build Fighters Try Island Wars
The much hyped follow-up to the popular Try Fighters (popular to Gunpla folks at least) is finally released on Youtube. An Image cap is available in Tag Hobby and Gundam Guy as well.
So what's this post about? It's a rant! A spoilery rant!

WIP: 1/144 RG 00 Qan-T
*updated with armor build
I'm alive! Barely... but I just went and impulse bought the RG 1/144 00 Qan-T and finished the frame build. It's interesting how you don't exactly use the pre-assembled inner frame for the arms, but rather build one ala Master Grade. Anyway, I'm still hunting for lighter fluid to panel line the armor and it's a weekday, so chances are part 2 won't be up till probably end of the week and a review over the weekend. Probably... since rendering the video took 3 hours, another 2 hours for upload and 1 more for youtube processing... it'll be a stretch!

Gunpla News: New Build Fighters Try and New Iron-Blooded Orphans kits
A quick post on the new kits from the upcoming Build Fighters and the new IBO stuff.
For the IBO, we have an evolution of the designs for Barbatos and Gusion it seems.

The Barbatos now sports more red with the Tekkadan symbol emblazed on
the armor. The armor has more geometric changes and angles, and overall
color scheme is well... more colorful (the green on the knees, more
yellow). The original grey bit sticking out on the
chin has been replaced with a massive red chin piece. There are nor side boosters evolved from the ground type equipment. The overall feel
is still medieval though, which is a good thing. Looks especially good
with the claymore. It's like the squire from the 1st season has been granted knight status.

WIP: RE 1/100 Efreet Custom
Man that took a while. If you have seen the blog image, you'll notice the updated picture. Yes the Efreet is complete and pics have been taken for the review. But in an attempt to check a few video angles, decided to video assembly of it to test out video capabilities of the Nikon D3300. So here's the WIP video for the Efreet Custom.

WIP: HG IBO 1/144 Grimgerde
So I went on a 4 day Japan trip (in Osaka), but was not able to find time to buy some Gunpla :( But we had 1 hour at a mall and was able to find a Toys R Us, I grabbed some kits available there (i.e. 2 kits). This one is 10 yen or so cheaper than the price indicated in the box, but still way cheaper than here in the PH due to the exchange rate. With that said, let's build Chocolate Man's 2nd suit, the 1/144 Grimgerde.

WIP: 1/144 HGCE Freedom Gundam ver. Revive (part 1)
1st video WIP! I just bought and built the HGCE 1/144 Freedom Gundam Revive. Video quality isn't as good, but then I'm using a cheapo Point and shoot from 4 years ago and a freeware video editor.

Gunpla News: Bandai Online Hobby Shop MG Jesta Cannon
Heartbreaking news: The Master Grade Jesta Cannon is an online exclusive :( Link from Taghobby.
We know that the MG Jesta can accommodate the cannon parts. And I'm pretty sure a lot of people were expecting it to be released sometime soon, but the exclusive status will make acquiring it... difficult and expensive for the non-japanese audience. I still do not understand how the Phenex was a regular release but the Banshee Norn, and now this, which appeared in the actual show are exclusives :( Onore Bandai!

WIP: RG Wing Gundam Zero EW part 1
Ah gundam wing. If i recall correctly, the series was being shown in local cable GMA here in the PH. I was never really able to watch it since it was showing just before school was done. My 1st exposure to gundam wing was the endless waltz model kits displayed when I was visiting Manila. There was this display with the coating version of the all the endless waltz HG kits. I almost 20 years later, I still have them... in pretty poor condition.
Anyway, back to the kit. Hobby shops sells it for around 1250 php, I got mine at department store sale price, so it costs 1400 php.
So let's start building.
