WIP: RG Wing Gundam Zero EW part final

Last part for my work in progress for the Real Grade Wing Gundam Zero Custom. I'll try my hand at a review... as soon as I get some stand to pose this guy.

It's completed weeks ago >:O

On to the wings 1st. I mentioned before that the nubs are bad...

you are seeing a really anal gunpla nut complaining...

If you notice the other gates are fine, except for that one giant one. I'd rather have 4 small nubs than 2 small ones and a giant one.

disgusting
Anyway, Wings are split into two. The main wing is simple enough. Comes in 14 pieces.

I prefer these wing construction over the complicated (and therefore heavy) MG ones. There's no linked movement on the wings, so it's overall simpler and therefore easier on the wing joints. The feather tips are made of plastic, not rubber

Back wings are similar to the Master grade ones. So it's just 2 pieces of wing bits, a sliding inner wing, the bottom closing bit and the connecting armature,

FYI, if you don't do post pic editing, it won't auto rotate the pic

Unlike the Mg (ha! drinking game), the beam saber connectors are mounted on a tiny hinge instead of a rectangular cavity. It makes it movable, and sort of allows wing zero to grab it out of his back. Sort of. Maybe...

Fully assembled backpack.

guess that gunpla at the back

On to the weapons and extras. First off, the twin buster rifle. It's more than just 2 halves and some hinges. There are separate pieces for the tubing thingy and the scope. No clear pieces for the scope though. There are 4 handles (2 for the left and 2 for the right), no clue on what the differences are.

Why not, you know, rotate via HTML code??

The completed rifle is pretty sleek. I hate how the stickers are suppose to be placed on sculpted detail, so I just moved some of the decals to a different location. There's some detents on the rifle handle, so they won't flop around like the MG version (drink). Not shown is a pic of combined twin rifle, but I can say that the tips of the gun are now pointed in the same direction, unlike the MG (drink), where it's barrels cross eyed.

Gasp! You can move sticker locations??
Beam sabers are easy enough. Unlike other RGs, these seem normal sized compared to the 1/100 "standard" RG beam sabres.

Not standard :P

Last are the hands. Seems the trend is to provide extra hands to grip the rifles or sabers, ontop of the articulated fingers. It comes with the fists, splayed open hands, holding things hands and the articulated hands.

I love the articulated hands on these kits but, even with the peg, it can't hold the buster rifle properly... so just use the fixed posed holding things hands for anything other than a beam saber.

Wing Zero completed. Sorry, no pic of it standing.

You lazy brick of a human being

I'll attempt a gunpla review in the next post.
